Nirvana film’s shot to fame were the zoo zoo ads. First lets talk about What is a zoo zoo?
A zoo zoo is basically a human like animated creature with white plastic skin with good
shadows and highlights, other than talking they behave exactly like humans and in fact their world is also same as ours. Now all these things are useless to consumer, for their needs a zoo zoo ad is simply(verbally talking about the ad itself) 2 professional players playing an international and one guy who is cheered by many enters the stadium leaving the professional players in awe, they are jealous and shocked at the atrocity. This ad sub-consciously tells the consumer that they don’t want to be a looser like everyone else but they can be the one others are cheering for. Ad ends with vodafone informing that the consumer can be that guy for whom everyone is cheering, for that all they need to do is send an sms. Its target audience was everyone in the country! and not suprisingly, this ad reached out to them and there was a timewhere everyone was in love with zoo zoo. Instead of choosing an age group, this ad reached out to the child inside everyone.

The makers of this ad ran with the concept, nirvana films was known because of this ad and there were more than 50 zoo zoo ads within 5 years from the first ad. They had half cooked concepts which when applied on the zoo zoo worked beautifully as a package and with good marketing vodafone made millions because from the whole thing.
